It took half of me to create this little rascal.

Being a dad isn't just about throwing a rugby ball at your son, or buying your daughter her first dress (that's being a father). This is one of the many lessons I learned in this journey and, mind you, there were no tutorials and guideline! Looking after your kids from the moment they are born is the responsibility of both you, and your wife. After all, it took half of you to create the little rascal.

I recall when I received a call from my girlfriend's mother saying I am a father to a baby girl - wow, I was ecstatic! 

I am sure she will never believe that I actually changed her first nappy and prepared her first bottle....... 

Now she just graduated to Grade 1 and in the not too distant future, we'll be chatting about cute boys!
